Directions
From I-75 N or S
Exit onto I-16 E towards Savannah and immediately get in right lane. Take Exit 1A (Spring St./ Gray Hwy) and take a left at bottom of ramp onto Gray Hwy. Go to the third traffic signal and take a left on Clinton Rd. Clinton Rd. will turn into Upper River Rd after about a mile (high school on left) After ~3 miles there will be an old, abandoned gas station on left. Take a left on Dr. Lee Rd. immediately after closed gas station (disregard signs for Javors Lucas Lake at this intersection – they direct you to another area of the lake). After turning onto Dr. Lee Rd. you will soon see the reservoir in front of you. Take a right at the gated entrance to Amerson Water Treatment plant/Javors Lucas Lake. Cross the dam and you will see the Race HQ on the right in about a ½ mile.
From I-16 W (from Savannah)
Take exit 1B and go left at top of ramp onto 2nd St. Stay in left lane and go through 1st light. Go straight at 2nd light (do not bear right onto Gray Hwy). You will now be on Clinton Rd. Clinton Rd. will turn into Upper River Rd after about a mile (high school on left) After ~3 miles there will be an old, abandoned gas station on left. Take a left on Dr. Lee Rd. immediately after closed gas station (disregard signs for Javors Lucas Lake at this intersection – they direct you to another area of the lake). After turning onto Dr. Lee Rd. you will soon see the reservoir in front of you. Take a right at the gated entrance to Amerson Water Treatment plant/Javors Lucas Lake. *Please do not attempt to access race site from River North subdivision (bridge across Ocmulgee River just north of Amerson Water Treatment Plant). This is a gated community and there is no access to the race start from this subdivision.
